Suntek Farms pvt. Ltd. is founded on the principle of "Cooperative Entrepreneurism" of 14 young women. With a quest to adopt scientific practices in farming, they have wisely chosen from the available resources to bring to table a superior quality agro-produce. The current focus is on farming Roses, which in future would be extended to growing exotic open-field flowers & fillers and plants for medicinal use.

Resource Land

The farm site is at "Talegaon Floriculture Park" (TFP) located just 2 hours drive from the Mumbai city of India and 30 minutes from Pune- another Metropolis in India.TFP is Govt. of India's earmarked site chosen especially for the development of "Green House Floriculture" after carefully scanning the necessary requisites such as suitable land, climate etc. from all over India. TFP is the first such effort not only in India but also in Asia. It has well developed completely integrated infrastructure with Input Suppliers (Pesticides, Fertilizers, Equipments etc.), Soil & Water Testing Laboratory, Planting Material Suppliers, Marketing Company all housed under one roof. TFP has assured supply of Quality Irrigation Water, Uninterrupted Power Supply, and Good Road & Communication Infrastructure.

Resource Management

The management inputs come from the training of the women entrepreneurs and the consulting inputs provided by "Horticultural Training Centre (HTC)" run by the Govt. of India on the outskirts of the " Floriculture Park" itself. Like TFP, HTC also is only such endeavor in whole of Asia.

HTC are the official consultants to Suntek Farms.

Resource Material & Technology Inputs

The inputs, be it Land Bed Preparation, sampling, Watering/Drip systems, Plant Growth Initiatives, are all carefully chosen and adopted on the most scientific basis. Suntek People are guided at every step by consultants HTC.
